Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received with a personalized welcome sign. You’ll be transferred to a Hotel in Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel. The following morning , your safari adventure begins with a drive west to Fort Portal, including a lunch stop in Mubende.
After breakfast, enjoy scenic views as you journey through tea plantations and lush Ugandan countryside toward Fort Portal. Your final stretch winds through a dense forest rich with birdlife and wildlife sounds. At Kyaninga Royal Cottages, activities include forest-guided walks, biking, hiking, and cultural village visits.

On this day you’ll visit Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves and the three surrounding explosion crater lakes for a blend of hiking, legend, and local culture. Learn about the region’s mythical stories and geological history. Later, visit the historic Tooro Palace, followed by an afternoon drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Overnight at a Lodge or Safari Camp.
Start the day with a 6:00 am game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Spot lions during their morning hunt, along with elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, warthogs, leopards, and waterbucks. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, home to large pods of hippos, crocodiles, and buffaloes along the water’s edge.

After breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge for a guided chimpanzee trekking experience. You may also encounter vervet monkeys, olive baboons, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. After your trek, begin the journey back to Kampala with a stop at the Equator in Masaka for photos and souvenirs. You will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your flight.
